Senior Sales Liaison

 

 

Job Purpose: Oversee the day to day administration of the Retail store. To provide an excellent sales and customer service experience to both new and existing Garrard clients

 Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a full administrative support service to the retail team ­ Establish, maintain and effectively communicate staffing rotas
  • Produce the daily sales report and culminate each day’s data into self-maintained master reports
  • Analyse CRM and sales date to report findings to Global Sales Director
  • Maintain staff sickness and holiday records – some basic analysis of any sickness issues and reporting to manager
  • Undertake annual and interim retail stock-takes
  • Hold regular new product and brand heritage training sessions to the retail team
  • Delivery of weekly team briefings and other ad hoc business communications
  • To be solely responsible for the repairs service offered to clients.
  • To manage this service via customer communication and administrative organisation.  As well as working with the Repairs Coordinator to provide specialist service.
  • Provide a knowledgeable service for regalia, enamelled medal repairs and repeat
  • medal/badge orders for County Councils, Mayoral Boroughs, the British Army,
  • societies and colleges 
  • Ensuring PO and all SAP transactions are in line with company process and to support the SAP system as required by the business
  • Responsibility for opening and closing procedures
  • Housekeeping – cleaning and visual merchandising of products
  • Delivering excellence of customer service to all clients
  • Assist the team with daily duties; setting up, packing away and security measures
  • To be available to step into a retail sales role as and when the business and personal clients require it

 Developing the business

  • To create and build upon statistical information generated by the daily sales reports
  • To meet and exceed sales targets, providing an excellent level of customer service. 
  • To develop and maintain relationships with clients, using the customer database and other sales tools
  • To develop an in-depth knowledge of the products and the brand and convey this with pride and passion to the customer
  • To provide feedback on clientele and product line performance as requested
  • To ensure regular, open and relevant communications and sharing of ideas, knowledge and experience.  To ensure that all communications are shared appropriately
  • To promote the brand in a highly professional and positive manner, constantly looking for opportunities to drive sales and achieve sales targets
  • To take part in promotional events as appropriate
  • Support the ongoing development of e-commerce, bringing onboard clients and working with Marketing to ensure accurate data reporting and analysis

 Skills and Experience

  • Experience in Fine jewellery essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in spoken and written English
  • Able to manage own workload with good time organisation skills
  • Flexible approach

  • Proactive approach
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and work flexibly across different departments
  • Highly confidential and discreet in all circumstances
  • Team player with superb inter-communication skills
